SBI PO 2026: 1500 Dream Jobs with Excellent Salary

State Bank of India (SBI) ने SBI PO Recruitment 2026 का official notification release कर दिया है. SBI ने 1500 Probationary Officer Posts के लिए applications invite किए हैं. आप 18 June 2026 से 8 July 2026 तक apply कर सकते हैं. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Apply करने से पहले आपको SBI PO Eligibility criteria ध्यान से check करना होगा. इसमें age limit और education qualification शामिल हैं. अगर आप criteria meet नहीं करते हैं तो आपका form reject हो जाएगा.

AGE LIMIT

आपकी age 21 साल से 30 साल के बीच होनी चाहिए. Age limit 1 April 2026 के base पर calculate की जाएगी. आपका जन्म 2 April 1996 से पहले और 1 April 2005 के बाद नहीं होना चाहिए. Reserve categories के candidates को age limit में relaxation मिलता है.

SC और ST category के candidates को 5 साल की छूट मिलती है. उनकी upper age limit 35 साल हो जाती है.
OBC non creamy layer candidates को 3 साल की छूट मिलती है. उनकी upper age limit 33 साल हो जाती है.
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities category में General candidates को 10 साल, OBC को 13 साल और SC ST को 15 साल की छूट मिलती है.

For example अगर आपकी category General है और आपकी date of birth 15 May 2005 है, तो आप apply नहीं कर सकते क्योंकि आप 1 April 2026 तक 21 साल के नहीं हुए हैं. अगर आपकी date of birth 10 March 2000 है, तो आप पूरी तरह से eligible हैं.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

आपको किसी भी recognized university से graduate होना चाहिए. आप BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BTech या कोई भी equivalent degree hold करते हों. Graduation में percentage की कोई minimum limit नहीं है.

Final year students भी बिना किसी परेशानी के apply कर सकते हैं. अगर आप final semester या final year में हैं, तो आपको interview के समय अपनी graduation degree का passing proof दिखाना होगा. यह proof 30 September 2026 से पहले का होना चाहिए.

For example अगर आप BTech final year के student हैं और आपका result 15 August 2026 को declare होता है, तो आप interview के समय अपनी mark sheet दिखा सकते हैं और आप eligible माने जाएंगे.

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS

SBI ने exam देने के attempts तय किए हुए हैं. आपको यह count ध्यान में रखना होगा.

General category और EWS category के candidates maximum 6 बार exam दे सकते हैं.
OBC category के candidates 9 बार attempt कर सकते हैं.
SC और ST category के candidates के लिए कोई maximum limit नहीं है. वह अपनी age limit cross होने तक exam दे सकते हैं.

Preliminary exam में बैठना attempt नहीं माना जाता है. Main exam में appear होने को ही attempt count किया जाता है.

HOW TO COMPLETE SBI PO APPLY ONLINE PROCESS

Application process पूरी तरह से online रखा गया है. आप नीचे दिए गए आसान steps को follow करके अपना form submit कर सकते हैं.

सबसे पहले State Bank of India की official website sbi.bank.in पर जाएं.
Website पर careers section में जाएं और current openings पर click करें.
SBI PO Recruitment 2026 के link को open करें.
New Registration button पर click करें.
अपना first name, last name, mobile number और email ID enter करें.
Registration complete होने पर आपको SMS और email पर registration number और password मिलेगा.
उन credentials का इस्तेमाल करके log in करें और application form में अपनी personal, educational और address details भरें.
अपनी scanned photograph, signature और thumb impression upload करें.
Application fee online payment gateway के जरिये pay करें. आप debit card, credit card या net banking use कर सकते हैं.

SELECTION PROCESS AND EXAM PATTERN

Selection process तीन major stages में बंटा हुआ है. आपको Probationary Officer बनने के लिए सभी stages clear करनी होंगी.

STAGE 1

PRELIMINARY EXAM

यह exam online conduct होता है. इसमें 100 objective type questions होते हैं. Total marks 100 होते हैं. Exam पूरा करने के लिए 1 घंटे का समय मिलता है.

English Language section में 30 questions आते हैं. इसके लिए 20 minutes मिलते हैं.

Quantitative Aptitude section में 35 questions आते हैं. इसके लिए 20 minutes मिलते हैं.

Reasoning Ability section में 35 questions आते हैं. इसके लिए 20 minutes मिलते हैं.

Negative marking भी apply होती है. हर गलत answer पर 0.25 marks काटे जाते हैं.

यह qualifying nature का exam है. इसके marks final merit list में add नहीं होते हैं.

STAGE 2

MAIN EXAM

Main exam भी online mode में होता है. इसमें objective test और descriptive test दोनों शामिल होते हैं.

Objective test 200 marks का होता है. इसके लिए 3 घंटे का समय मिलता है.

Descriptive test 50 marks का होता है. इसके लिए 30 minutes का समय मिलता है.

Objective test में Reasoning and Computer Aptitude के 40 questions, Data Analysis and Interpretation के 30 questions, General Economy and Banking Awareness के 50 questions और English Language के 35 questions आते हैं.

Descriptive test में letter writing और essay writing पूछा जाता है. आपको keyboard का इस्तेमाल करके answers type करने होते हैं.

Main exam के marks final merit list बनाने में count होते हैं.

STAGE 3

PSYCHOMETRIC TEST AND INTERVIEW

Main exam clear करने वाले candidates को Phase 3 के लिए shortlist किया जाता है.

सबसे पहले psychometric test conduct होता है. इससे candidate की personality और psychological traits judge किए जाते हैं.

इसके बाद Group Exercise और Personal Interview होते हैं. Group exercise 20 marks और interview 30 marks का होता है.

Interview panel आपकी communication skills, leadership quality, banking knowledge और overall confidence check करता है.

Final merit list Main exam और Interview के marks को combine करके बनाई जाती है. Prelims के marks count नहीं होते हैं.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR SBI PO EXAM

आपको exam clear करने के लिए एक solid strategy बनानी होगी. Competition बहुत high होता है.

Syllabus को अच्छी तरह समझ लें और important topics की list बना लें.
Previous year question papers solve करें. इससे आपको exam level और pattern का idea मिलेगा.
Daily mock tests दें. Mock tests से आपकी speed, accuracy और time management skills improve होंगी.
General awareness और current affairs के लिए daily newspaper पढ़ें. Banking news पर ज्यादा focus करें.
English language improve करने के लिए daily reading practice करें और grammar rules revise करें.

Reasoning Ability section में puzzles और seating arrangement बहुत important होते हैं. आपको रोज़ कम से कम चार से पांच puzzles solve करनी चाहिए.

Quantitative aptitude में simplification, number series और data interpretation पर ज्यादा focus करें. यह scoring topics होते हैं.

English language section में reading comprehension सबसे ज्यादा weightage रखता है. Newspaper का editorial page रोज़ पढ़ने की आदत डालें. इससे आपकी vocabulary भी अच्छी होगी और reading speed भी बढ़ेगी.

For example Data Analysis and Interpretation के questions solve करने में ज्यादा time लगता है. आप Vedic math और short tricks सीखकर अपना calculation time बचा सकते हैं. इससे आप exam में ज्यादा questions attempt कर पाएंगे.

JOB PROFILE AND CAREER GROWTH

Select होने के बाद candidates को 2 साल के probation period पर रखा जाता है. इस दौरान उन्हें banking operations की training दी जाती है.

आप customer service, loan processing, account opening और branch management का काम सीखते हैं.

Probation period सफलतापूर्वक पूरा करने के बाद आपको Junior Management Grade Scale I में confirm कर दिया जाता है.

SBI अपने employees को promotion के बहुत अच्छे मौके देता है. Probation period के बाद आप Assistant Manager बन जाते हैं.

इसके बाद आप internal exams देकर Deputy Manager, Chief Manager, Assistant General Manager और General Manager तक की posts पर promotion पा सकते हैं.

SBI के Chairman की post तक पहुंचने वाले कई officers ने अपनी शुरुआत Probationary Officer के रूप में ही की थी.
